In 2004, an Aussie mum frustrated by the lack of fun and contemporary bedroom furniture, linen and clothing on the market, decided to take matters into her own hands by opening her very own store.
That mum was Anna Abelha and the store was Funky Kids.
Today, Funky Kids has three outlets throughout the Perth metropolitan area and plans for further expansion are well underway.
